Benson, a meat seller and business owner, is a regular listener of the Ijue Sheria radio program. He became involved in a local conflict between Muslims and Christians regarding who was permitted to slaughter animals for meat according to the law. Ijue Sheria covered the issue and formed a law platform to discuss the conflict. Through the discussion, it was concluded that both groups were allowed to perform the act of slaughtering, but other laws needed to be observed. The Animal Welfare Act of 2008 was brought to Benson's attention through the show. He expressed that without the program, he would not have learned about the issue.
A man with four children had been illegally made redundant from his job in 2015 and had not been paid since then. He reached out to Ijue Sheria Radio by calling and texting the studio's phone number during a live program where the presenter was discussing a similar case of unfair termination. The presenter explained the legal procedure to follow and this helped David, among many others who called in, to successfully navigate the legal process. David expressed his gratitude to the show, stating that it is the only radio program that educates and informs people about legal procedures.
